PULAU PINANG, better known as “Penang”, is a state in the northwest of the peninsular Malaysia, comprising mainland Seberang Perai and the Penang Island. The latter is a 10-minute passenger ferry ride from Seberang Perai on the peninsula and is connected via two bridges namely the Penang Bridge and the Second Penang Bridge (Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’Adzam Shah Bridge). The Penang International Airport sees incoming flights from almost all domestic airports and many international destinations such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Dubai and Qatar.
